How it works

A questionnaire that respects the fact you have a job.

No swiping, no photos, no public profile. Offclock asks you to place yourself on 120 statements, then does the quiet work of showing you who else at your company landed where you did.

The prompts

120 original statements. Nine packs. Seven places to stand.

  • Prompts, all written for Offclock

    Every statement was written for this product. Nothing is borrowed from personality tests or other services. Prompts are phrased as things you might actually say about yourself, not abstract traits.

    Example: “A shared meal fixes more than a shared document.”

  • Packs you can take in any order

    Prompts are grouped into nine packs so you can answer in short sittings. Finish one on a commute, another at lunch. A pack does not need to be finished for its answers to count.

    Packs cover work rhythm, honesty, money, humour, conflict, ambition, rest, loyalty and taste.

  • Choices per prompt, laid out left to right

    Each statement gets a seven-point horizontal scale with plain-language anchors at each end. Seven is enough to be honest about nuance and few enough to answer on instinct.

    The middle choice is a real position, not a way to skip.

  • Tap, and it locks

    Answers lock the moment you tap. You cannot see how your company answered a prompt until your own answer is locked. That order matters: it keeps the results honest and keeps you from tuning yourself to the room.

    A saved answer stays locked until you explicitly choose Change answer, or you can revoke it entirely. Either action invalidates comparisons based on the earlier answer.

Verification

Your work email proves your workplace, then steps aside.

You sign up with a company email address. A code goes to that address. Once you enter it, Offclock records the work domain and lets you pick a pseudonym. Coworkers see the pseudonym. They do not see your email, your name, or your team.

Personal mail providers are rejected at the form, because a workplace cannot be verified from a mailbox anyone can create.

Company, office-city and building discovery each have their own opt-in. Choose an office city from the company directory, then an optional building. You can withdraw from any of them at any time; this is never live location tracking.

Company histograms

Twenty people before anyone sees anything.

For each prompt, Offclock can show a private histogram of how your company answered. That view is suppressed until at least 20 people at your company have locked an answer to that prompt. Below the threshold, the chart simply does not exist.

Histograms are aggregate only. They never list who chose what, and they are never shared outside your verified company.

Step A

Ask, or be asked

Discovery surfaces pseudonyms at your company, office city or building who have opted in. You can request a comparison with any of them, and they can request one with you.

Step B

Both accept

A comparison opens only when both people accept. Then each of you sees where your locked answers agree, where they differ, and by how much on the seven-bar instrument.

Step C

Reveal, if you both want

Name reveal is optional and mutual. Until both people choose it, you remain pseudonyms to each other. Either person can leave the comparison at any time.

  • Invitations

    Invite a coworker

    Share an invite so a colleague can verify with their own work address. Invitations never reveal who you are unless you tell them.

  • Block and report

    Stop contact instantly

    Blocking removes a pseudonym from your discovery and comparisons in both directions. Reports go to Offclock, not to your employer.

  • Revocation

    Take answers and visibility back

    You can revoke any locked answer, which removes it from histograms. You can also withdraw from company, city and building discovery entirely.

  • Workday tracker

    A concept for your own workday rhythm
